AUGUST 15, 1950
A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia was held
on August 15, 1950, at 8:00 P. M., at 33110 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, at
which time and place all of the members of said commission:
Jesse Ziegler - - Mayor
Marie W. Clark- - City Clerk
William W. Brashear City Attorney
were present in person.
Pursuant to Section 5, Chapter III of the Charter, the City Clerk
presided over the meeting as chairman of the commission. With the consent of
all present, the City Attorney acted as secretary.
Careful consideration was given to the matter of appointing a board of
inspectors of election for each election urecinct of the City, pursuant to Section
7, Chapter 57, of the ?,Michigan Election Law, as amended, (Sec. 6. 338 Mich. Stat.
Ann. ), to function as such at the next election. On motion duly made, seconded
and unanimously carried by the affirmative vote of all three members of the
commission, it was :
RESOLVED, that the following respective persons are hereby
appointed members of the following respective election precincts of the
City of Livonia:

FURTHER RESOLVED, that said boards of election inspectors, as
above constituted, shall, on the members thereof taking and subscribing
the constitutional oath of office, lave all powers and duties provided
by aw as boards of election inspectors at the next election called for

There being no further business to come before the meeting, on motion duly
made, seconded and unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned.
