Home My WebLink AboutELEC COMM 1962-10-17 MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF ZiE CITY OF LIVONIA October 17, 1962 A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia was held on Wednesday, October 17, 1962, at 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, at 10:00 A. M., at which time and place the following members of said Commission: Harvey W. Moe 1k9 - Mayor Marie W. Clark - City Clerk were present. Absent: Alan Walt, City Attorney. Pursuant to Section 5, Chapter III of the Charter, the City Clerk presided over the meeting as Chairman of the Commission. Careful consideration was given to the matter of appointing a Board of Inspectors of Election for each election precinct of the City, pursuant to Act No. 271 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1959, as amended, to function as such at the General Election to be held November 6, 1962. On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried by the affirmative vote of the members present, it was RESOLVED that, the list of election inspectors appointed to work in the Primary Election which was held on August 7, 1962, is hereby approved for the General Election to be held on November 6, 1962; and the additional names submitted by the Mayor and City Attorney will be included in the list of election inspectors to be appointed for the November 6, 1962 General Election; and the placement of said inspectors be left to the discretion of the Chairman of the Election Commission; the result being as follows: Pct. #1 Chrm.
