OF THE CITY (F LIVONIA
March 19, 1957
A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia was held on
Tuesday, March 19, 1957, at 11.:45 A. M., at 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan,
at which time all of the members of said Commission:
William W. Brashear - Mayor
Marie W. Clark - City Clerk
William N. Ponder - City Attorney
were present.
Pursuant to Section 5, Chapter III of the Charter, the City Clerk presided
over the meeting as Chairman of the Commission.
Careful consideration was given to the matter of appointing a board of
inspectors of election for each election precinct of the City, pursuant to Act #271
of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1955, as amended, to function as such at the
Spring Election to be held April 1, 1957. On motion duly made, seconded and
unanimously carried by the affirmative vote of all three members of the Commission,
it was
RESOLVED that, the following respective persons are hereby
appointed members of the following respective election precincts of
the City of Livonia:

FURTHER RESOLVED that, said boards of election inspectors as above
constituted shall, on the members thereof taking and subscribing the con-
stitutional oath of office, have all powers and duties provided by law as
boards of election inspectors at the spring election of April 1, 1957; and
that the salaries for the inspectors of election who will serve in April 1,
1957, be as follow s:
Chairmen, $18.00 Inspectors, $16.00.
IwoThere being no further business to come before the Commission, on motion
duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned at 12:06 P. M.,
March 19, 1957.
