A meeting of the Election Commissioon of the City of Livonia was held on
Friday, July 20, 1956, at 11:00 A.M. at 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan,
at which time all of the members of said Coralission:
William I. Brash ear - Mayor
Marie W. Clark - City Clerk
William N. Ponder - City Attorney
were present.
Pursuant to Section 5, Chapter Iii of the Charters the City Clerk pre-
sided over the meeting as Chairman of the Commission.
Careful consideration was given to the matter of appointing a board of
Imiinspectors of election for each election precinct of the City, pursuant to Act 271
of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1955, as amended, to function as such at a general
primary election, to be held August 7, 1956. un motion duly made, seconded and
unanimously carried by the affirmative vote of all three members of the Commission,
it was

ing the constitutional oath of ofiice, have all powers and duties provided
by law as boards of election inspectors at the special election called for
August 7, 1956; and that the salaries for the inspectors of election who
will serve on August 7, 1956 oe as follows:

There being no further business to come before the Commission, on motion
duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the nneting was adjourned at 11:45 A.M.,
July 20, 1956.
