OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
JANUARY 29, 1953
A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia was held on
January 29, 1953, at 8:00 P. M. at 33110 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, at
which time all of the members of said commission:
Jesse Ziegler - Mayor
Marie W. Clark - City Clerk
William W. Brashear - City Attorney
were present in person.
Pursuant to Section 5, Chapter III of the Charter, the City Clerk presided
over the meeting as chairman of the commission. With the consent of all present,
the City Attorney acted as secretary.
Careful consideration was given to the matter of appointing a board of
inspectors of election for each election precinct of the City, pursuant to Section 7,
Chapter 57, of the Michigan Election Law, as amended, (Sec. 6.338 Mich. Stat. Ann.)
to function as such at the General Primary and Special City Election. On motion duly
made, seconded and unanimously carried by the affirmative vote of all three members of
the commission, it was:
RESOLVED, that the following respective persons are hereby
appointed members of the following respective election precincts of the
City of Livonia:

FURTHER RESOL`JLJ, that said boards of election inspectors,
as above constituted, „hall, on the members thereof taking and sub-
scribing the constitutional oath of office, have all powers and duties
provided by law as boards of eiecti_on inspectors at the next election
called for February 16, l'53.
There being no ruitner business to come before the meeting,
on motion duly made, second d and unanimously carried, the meeting was
adjourned.
