HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1975-02-03 PETITION 1974-07-01-21 14765 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION On February 3, 1975, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President at 8 03 P M Present Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert E McCann, Robert D Bennett, Robert R. Bishop, Peter A Ventura and Jerry Raymond Absent--None Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A. Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No. 74-7-1-21 submitted by Greenfield Construction Company, requesting the rezoning of property located on the west side of Newburgh Road on the north and south sides of Six Mile Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 7 and the Northeast 1/4 of Section 18 in the following manner Parcel A - from R5-C and RE to R-7 (Residential and Research Engineering to Multiple Family Residential) , Parcel B - from R5-C, RE and PO to R8-III (Residential, Research Engineering and High Rise Professional to High Rise Multiple - maximum 12 stories) , Parcel C - from RE to R9-III (Research Engineering to Housing for Elderly - maximum 9 stories), Parcel D - from RE, PO and C-4 to PO-II (Research Engineering, Professional High Rise and Commercial to Professional High Rise - maximum 8 stories) , Parcel E - from RE and C-4 to C4-II (Research Engineering and Commercial to Commercial - maximum 8 stories) , Parcel F - from R5-C, C-4 and PO to C-2 (excepting that portion already zoned C-2) , (Residential, Commercial and Professional High Rise to General Business District), Parcel G - from C-4 to C4-I (High Rise Commercial to High Rise Commercial - maximum 6 stories) , Parcel H - from C-4 to P S (exception that portion already zoned P S ), (High Rise Commercial to Professional Services) ; Parcel I - from C-4 and R3-.B to R-7 (High Rise Commercial and Residential to Multiple Family Residential), Parcel J - from C-4 and R3-B to R8-I (High Rise Commercial and Residential to High Rise Multiple Family - maximum 6 stories) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10 40 P M. , February 3, 1975 ADDISON W C��No► • ty Clerk
