MINUTES OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF LIVONIA, MICHIGAN
A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia, Michigan, was held on Monday,
May 17, 1999 at the Livonia City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Dnve, Livonia, Michigan at
approximately 2.25 P.M., at which time and place the following members of said
Commission were present.
Present: Joan McCotter, City Clerk
Jack Kirksey, Mayor
Sean P Kavanagh, City Attorney
Joan McCotter assumed the duties as Chairperson of the Election Commission.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Kirksey, supported by Commissioner Kavanagh and
unanimously adopted, it was*
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Election Commission meeting held on October 5,
1998, be hereby approved.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Kavanagh, supported by Commissioner Kirksey and
unanimously adopted, it was
RESOLVED that the election Inspectors and Chairpersons listed on the scheduled list
hereto, and made part of these minutes, are duly appointed to the Election Board for the Annual
School Election to be held on Monday, June 14 1999

Upon a motion by Commissioner Kavanagh, supported by Commissioner Kirksey and
unanimously adopted, it was
RESOLVED that the compensation for the day of Monday, June 14, 19999, be $100 00
for each inspector, $105 00 for each Vice Chairperson, and $130 00 for each Chairperson and
further that each appointed member required to attend an instructional meeting be reimbursed at
the rate of$10 00 per meeting with Chairpersons receiving an additional $5 00 for their
instructional meeting.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Kirksey, supported by Commissioner Kavanagh, the
Chairperson declared the meeting adjourned at approximately 2 41 P M., Monday,
May 17, 1999
