Council at 9`01 P. M Present Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, Gerald D Taylor,
Jerry Raymond , Robert D. Bennett, Robert K. Bishop, and Peter A. Ventura Absent--None.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all
other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning
Act MS A. Section 5.2934) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a
public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance.
LPetition No. 78-6-1-26 submitted by Trinity Baptist Church for a change of
zoning of property located on the north side of Six Mile Road between the 1-275 Freeway
and Haggerty Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 7, from B-9III and R-5-C to P. S.
(Housing for Elderly and One Family Residential to ProfeooiooalService)
Petition No. 78-7-1-27 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own
motion for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Harrison south
of Brentwood in the West 1/2 of Section 12, from R-1 to P.L. (One Family Residential
to Public Lands) .
Petition No. 78-7-1-28 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own
motion for a change of zoning of property located east of Merriman Road between Curtis
and Hillbrook Avenue in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 11, from R-2 to P L (One Family
Residential to Public Lands District) .
Petition No. 78-7-1-29 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change
of zoning of property located south of Pickford Avenue between Sunset and Hillcrest
in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 11, from D-I to P.L. (One Family Residential to Public
Lands)
Petition No. 78-7-1-30 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change
of zoning of property located west of Middlebelt Road, between Curtis and Six Mile
Roads, in the South 1/2 of Section 11, from D-1A to P L. (One Family Residential to
LPublic Luoda) ,
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 31 P M. , November 13, 1978.
