HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-03-13 PETITION 1977-08-01-28 16921 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On March 13, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 05 P M Present Robert E. McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry H Brown, Jerry Raymond and Robert D Bennett Absent Robert R Bishop and Peter A Ventura Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning L Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No 77-8-1-28, submitted by the First Church of the Nazarene for a change of zoning of property located north of Seven Mile Road between the I-96/275 Freeway and Haggerty Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 6, from M-1 to RUF and R-9 (Light Manufacturing to Rural Urban Farms and Housing for Elderly) Petition No 77-9-1-33 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 803-77, for a change of zoning of property located north of Seven Mile Road between Newburgh Road and Fitzgerald in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 5, from P L to RUFC (Public Land to Rural Urban Farms) Petition No 77-9-1-34, submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 803-77, for a change of zoning of property located south of Six Mile Road, west of Newburgh Road, in the East 1/2 of Section 18, from P L to R-3-B (Public Land to Residential) 16922 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (CONTINUED) Petition No 77-10-1-35 submitted by Arthur 0 and Joyce C Carmichael for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Haggerty Road, north of Seven Mile Road, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 6, from M-1 to P S (Light Manufacturing to Professional Services) Petition No 77-10-1-41, submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 833-77, for a change of zoning of property located at the southeast corner of Six Mile Road and Haggerty Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 18, from M-1 to R-7 (Light Manufacturing to Multiple Family Residential) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 50 P M , March 13, 1978 ADDISON W. :A l, Ci Clerk
