MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING
STREET LIGHTIN3IN QUAKERTOWN SUBDIVISION NO. 1

On April 2, 1979, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at 9.15 P. M. Present Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, Gerald D. Taylor,
Jerry Raymond, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop and Peter A. Ventura.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements,
Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, "
the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity of installing ornamental
street lighting with underground wiring in the Quakertown Subdivision No. 1 in the
Northwest 1/4 of Section 18, T. 1 S., R. 9 E., City of Livonia.
There was no one in attendance.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 24 P. M., April 2, 1979.
