MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On December 17, 1979, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of
the Council at 8 00 P M Present Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Gerald D
Taylor, Jerry Raymond, Robert D Bennett and Robert R Bishop Absent--Peter A
Ventura
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all
other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning
Act (M S A Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a
public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance
Petition No 79-8-1-23 submitted by Keith E Mino for a change of zoning
of property located on the south side of Pickford between Farmington Road and Filmore
in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9, from R-3 to P S (Residential to Professional
Services)
Petition No 79-8-1-28 submitted by Farley Building Company, Inc for a
change of zoning of property located on the northeast corner of Middlebelt Road and
Pickford Avenue in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12, from RUF to C-2 (Rural Urban
Farms to General Business)
Petition No 79-8-1-30 initiated by Council :Resolution 552-79 for a change
of zoning of property located on the west side of Mayfield Avenue, north of Plymouth
Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 27, from C-2 to P (General Business to Parking)

of zoning of property located south of Seven Mile Road. between Loveland and
Mayfield in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 10, from P L to P (Public Lands to
Parking)
Petition No 79-9-1-32 submitted by Greenfield Construction Company
for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Six Mile Road
between North Laurel Park Drive and I-275 Freeway in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 7,
from P.0 to C-41I (High Rise Professional Office-4 Stories to High-Rise Commercial-
8 Stories)
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 00 P M , December 17, 1979
