HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1980-04-21 NECESSITY GILLMAN 18538 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF GILLMAN AVENUE, BETWEEN SEVEN MILE AND CURTIS On April 21, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President at 9.00 P M Present. Robert R Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert E McCann and Peter A Ventura. Absent: Robert D Bennett and Robert F Nash The Vice-President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the improvement of Gillman Avenue, between Seven Mile and Curtis, in the City of Livonia There were approximately 150 people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
