MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On October 20, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President
of the Council at 9 30 P. M. Present Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald
Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, Robert E. McCann and Peter A. Ventura.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all
other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning
Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding
a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition No. 80-6-1-22 submitted by Geneva Jane Cicirelli, for a change of
zoning of property located south of Plymouth Road, west of Farmington Road, in
the Northeast 1/4 of Section 33, from RUF to R-7 (Rural Urban Farms to
Multiple Family Residential District. )
Petition No. 80-7-1-25 submitted by Columbus Development, Inc. for a change
of zoning of property located on the south side of Six Mile Road between Merriman
and Oporto, in the N.W. 1/4 of Section 14, from RUF and RUFC to P.S. & P. (Rural
Urban Farms to Professional Service and Parking).
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10 07 P. M., October 20, 1980.
