MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPRO 1
OF RAYBURN AVENUE BETWEEN MERRIMAN ROAD AND HENRY RUFF ROAD
On December 14, 1981, the above hearing was held, at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President
of the Council at 8:27 P M. Present. Robert D. Bennett, Gerald Taylor, Alice
Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, Robert E. McCann and Peter A. Ventura. Absent.
Robert F. Nash.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No.
401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improve-
ments, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment
Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the
proposed street improvement of Rayburn Avenue between Merriman Road and Henry Ruff
Road, in the City of Livonia, Michigan
There were approximately one hundred and seventy-five people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9:00 P M. , December 14, 1981
