MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETII1ON NO. 83-6-2-23 (Waiver Use)

On August 17, 1983, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of
the Council at 8:46 P.M. Present: Robert E McCann, Gerald Taylor, Fernon P.
Feenstra, Alice Gundersen and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Robert R. Bishop and
Peter A. Ventura.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No
543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to Notice
of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with
said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing relative to a
use permit submitted by Mohamed Sayed requesting permission to utilize an SDM
License within a party store as a waiver use on property zoned C-1 to be located
Lon the W. side of Middlebelt between Schoolcraft and Bentley in Section 23, City
of Livonia.
There were approximately eleven people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:48 P.M., August 17, 1983
