HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1985-08-26 PETITION 1985-03-01-10 21887 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On August 26, 1985, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9 00 p m Present: Robert R Bishop, Robert E McCann, Fernon P Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett and Peter A Ventura Absent. None Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S A Section 5.293)4,M C L A 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition No 85-3-1-10, as amended, submitted by Norman Akarakcian, for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Eight Mile Road, east of Middlebelt Road, in the Northwest 1/4 of Secticn 1, from RUF to P S (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Professional Service) Petition 85-5-1-11, submitted by John D Dinan, for a change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Eight Mile Road and Gill Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 4, from RUFB to P S and P (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Professional Service and Parking) There were approximately 25 people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9.55 p m , August 26, 1965 16.401 Ar As-4 ROBERT F.
