MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On February 20, 1985, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of
the Council at 8:04 p m Present. Robert R Bishop, Robert E McCann, Fernon P
Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Gerald Taylor and Robert D Bennett Absent . Peter A
Ventura.
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all
other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning
Act (M.S.A. Section 5 293)-i.), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a
public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance
Petition No 84-11-1-35, submitted by Carlos R Galeana for a change of
zoning of property located on the northwest corner of Farmington and Pickford Roads
in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9 from R-3 to P S (One Family Residential to
Professional Service)
Petition No 84-11-1-36, submitted by Basney & Smith, Inc for a change
of zoning of property located on the northwest corner of Schoolcraft Service Drive
and Newburgh Roads in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 19 from RUF to P S (Rural
Urban Farm to Professional Service)
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9.10 p m , February 20, 1985.
