MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS

On May 19, 1986, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
�
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 8 45 p.m. Present. Robert D. Bishop, Joan
McCotter, Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert E. McCann, Gerald Taylor, Robert D.
Bennett and Ron Ochala. Absent: None.
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days
prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed
change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended,
the Zoning Act (MSA 5.2934; MCLA 125.584) , as well as Article XXIII of

Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council
of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for
a change of the Zoning Ordinance
Petition No. 86-2-6-1, submitted by the City Planning Commission to
amend Section 18.47 of Zoning Ordinance No 543 by incorporating property
located along the 1-275 corridor area between Six and Eight Mile Roads
within the control zone area
Petition 86-2-1-10, submitted by the Livonia Mall for a change of
zoning of property located South of St. Martins between Middlebelt Road
and Purlingbrook in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 2 from RUFA & P to P &
C-2 (Rural Urban Farm - One Family residential to Parking and Parking to
General Business) .
Petition 86-3-1-11, submitted by Lidia Veri for a change of zoning
of property located on the West side of Gill Road, South of Eight Mile
Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 4 from RUFB to R-3B (Rural Urban
Farm - One Family Residential to One Family Residential 80 x 120) .

Petition 86-3-1-12, submitted by Lidia Veri to rezone property located
on the North side of Seven Mile Road, East of Farmington Road in the Southwest
1/4 of Section 3 from R-3A (One Family Residential) to C-1 (Local Business)
L & R-7 (Multi-Family Dwellings) and R-7 (Multi-Family Dwellings) to C-1
(Local 8uaiueaa) .
There were approximately 30 people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10:35 p m , May 19, 1986.
