MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
tamOn April 30, 1986, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
the President of the Council at 8 00 p m Present Robert R Bishop,
Joan McCotter, Fernon P Feenstra, Robert E McCann, Gerald Taylor,
Robert D. Bennett and Ron Ochala
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning
Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen
(15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected
by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543,
the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions
set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of
11. 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (MSA 5 2934,MCLA 125 584) , as well as
Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing
relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition No 85-12-1-40, submitted by John D Dinan, for a
change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Eight
Mile and Gill Roads in Section 4 from RUFB to P S (Rural Urban Farm-
One Family Residential to Professional Service)
Petition No. 86-1-1-1, submitted by Westin Development Company,
for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Farmington
Road, south of Eight Mile Road, in Section 4, from RUFA to P S (Rural
Urban Farm-One Family Residential to Professional Service)
Petition No 86-1-1-2, submitted by Timothy Liang for Mayflower
Development Inc , for a change of zoning of property located on the east
side of Stark Road, south of Plymouth Road, in the Northeast 1/4 of
lbw Section 23

Petition 86-1-1-3, submitted by Quakertown Ltd Partnership,
for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Six
Mile Road, between Haggerty Road and Quakertown Lane in Section 18,
from C-2 to P S (General Business to Professional Service)
Petition 85-12-1-37, submitted by Quakertown Ltd Partnership,
for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Six Mile
Road, between Haggerty and Quakertown Lane, in Section 18, from P S
to C-2 (Professional Service to General Business)
There were approximately 40 people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the
office of the City Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10 10 p m. , April 30,
1986.
