MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
lbw On March 19, 1986, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 7 05 p m Present Robert R. Bishop, Joan
McCotter, Fernon P Feenstra, Robert E McCann, Gerald Taylor, Robert D
Bennett and Ron Ochala Absent None
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days
prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the
proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the
Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set
forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as
amended, the Zoning Act (MSA 5 2934,MCLA 125 5840), as well as Article XXIII
of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the
Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to
a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition No 85-12-1-36, submitted by Greenfield Construction Company,
Inc. , for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Five
Mile Road, east of Levan in Section 20 from R-2 to P S (One Family Resi-
dential to Professional Service)
Petition No. 85-12-1-38, submitted by Southwood Construction Company
for a change of zoning of property located north of Seven Mile Road, East
of Farmington Road in Section 3 from R-2A to R-7 (One Family Residential
to Multiple Family Residential)
Petition No. 85-12-1-39, submitted by Kapila Contracting Company
for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Clarita,
west of Middlebelt Road in Section 11, from R-5 to R-7 (One Family Resi-
dential) .
There were approximately 15 people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the
office of the City Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 59 p m , March 19, 1986
