MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REQUEST BY FORD MOTOR COMPANY
(LIVONIA TRANSMISSION & CHASSIS PLANT)FOR AN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES
EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE IN CITY OF LIVONIA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT NO 1 (31 NEW MACHINES AND REARRANGEMENT OF EXISTING
OF EXISTING PLANT LAYOUT)
On December 3, 1986, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
the President of the Council at 8 41 p m Present Robert R Bishop,
Joan McCotter, Fernon P Feenstra, Robert E McCann, Gerald Taylor, Robert
D Bennett and Ron Ochala Absent None
The President stated that this was a public hearing on the question
of whether this City Council should approve the Application for an
Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate as submitted by Ford Motor
Company (Livonia Transmission & Chassis Plant) for the addition of 50 new
machines, three test stands and rebuilding of existing transfer lines and
other equipment, to be located within City of Livonia Industrial Develop-
ment District No. 1
There were approximately 20 people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the
office of the City Clerk
The public hearing was declared closed at 9 50 p m , December 3, 1986
