MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION NO 87-6-2-24 (WAIVER USE)
On October 5, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Presi-
dent of the Council at 7 35 p.m Present Robert E McCann, Joan McCotter,
Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett, Ron
Ochala Absent None.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No
543, the Zoning Ordinance of hte City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to
Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in
accordance with said Ordinance No 543, the City Council is opening a public
hearing relative to a use permit submitted by Shigeru Yamada for permission to
utilize a Class C Liquor License for a Japanese Restaurant in Laurel Commons
Plaza located on the North side of Six Mile Road between Newburgh Road and
Fitzgerald in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 8 of the City of Livonia
There were approximately five people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk
The public hearing was declared closed at 8 05 p m , October 5, 1987.
