MINUTES OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON A ZONING PETITION
toOn June 26, 1989 , the above hearing was held at the
City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and
was called to order by the President of the Council at 9: 22
p.m. Present: Fernon P. Feenstra, Joan McCotter, Robert R.
Bishop, Ron Ochala and Dale Jurcisin. Absent: Laura Toy
and Gerald Taylor.
Pursuant to Section 23 .06 of Ordinance No. 543 , the
Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and
mailed notices fifteen ( 15) days prior to the hearing date
to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change
and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543 , the Zoning
Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the
provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public
Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act,
tirs (MSA 5. 2934; MCLA 125. 548) , as well as Article XXIII of
Ordinance 543 , the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia,
the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public
hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning
Ordinance.
Petition 89-3-1-7 , submitted by McDonald' s Corporation,
for a change of zoning on property located on the south
side of Ann Arbor Road between Ann Arbor Trail and Hix
Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 31, from C-i to
C-2 (Local Business - General Business) .
There was no one present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were
given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of
which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9: 31
p.m. , June 26, 1989.
