MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION
Imm On August 13, 1990, the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called
to order .by President McCotter at 8:39 p.m. Present: Joan
McCotter, Dale Jurcisin, Ron Ochala, Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert R.
Bishop, Gerald Taylor. Absent: Laura Toy.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning
Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices
fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the
area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of
Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions
set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of
Ibm1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act, (MSA 5.2934; MCLA 125.548),
as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding
a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning
Ordinance.
Petition 90-2-6-3, submitted by the City Planning Commission,
pursuant to Council Resolution 163-90 to determine whether or not
to amend Section 18.42 relating to the location and height of radio
towers and antennas in the City of Livonia including consideration
of mobile towers.
There were approximately two persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in
the Office of the City Clerk.
