MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION
On May 8, 1991, the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called
to order by the President of the Council at 7:49 P.M. Present:
Ron Ochala, Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor,
Dale Jurcisin and Joan McCotter. Absent: Laura Toy
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning
Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices
fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the
area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of
Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
The president stated that in accordance with the provisions
set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan
1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A Section 5 2934; M.C.L.A.
125.584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of
Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a
change of the Zoning Ordinance
Petition 91-1-1-2, submitted by Dave Pink and William
Roskelly for a change of zoning on property located on
the east side of Stonehouse Avenue between Joy Road
and Minton Avenue in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 31,
from PL to R-1, the City Planning Commission in its
resolution 3-41-91 having recommended to the City Council
that Petition 91-1-1-2 be approved.
There were approximately three people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in
the office of the City Clerk
1991 The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:10 P.M. , May 8,
