HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1991-06-05 PETITION 1991-02-01-03 26514 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION On June 5, 1991, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7:35 P.M. Present: Laura Toy, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor (excused at 8:10 p.m.), Dale Jurcisin, Ron Ochala and Joan McCotter. Absent: None. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The president stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934; M.0 L.A. 125.584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance. Petition 91-2-1-3, submitted by Castillo Company, Inc. for six property owners for a change of zoning on property located on the west side of Middlebelt Road between Schoolcraft and Bentley Avenue in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 23, from RUT' to OS, (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Office Services). Petition 91-2-1-5, submitted by City Planning Commission pursuant to CR #1103-90 for a change of zoning of property located at the northwest corner of Newburgh and Joy Roads in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 31 from C-1 to R-1, (Local Business to One Family Residential - 60' X 120' lot) . There were approximately twenty people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the of the City Clerk.
