HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1991-07-22 PETITION 1991-02-01-04 26565 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION On July 22, 1991, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7:30 P M. Present: Gerald Taylor, Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert R. Bishop and Joan McCotter. Absent: Dale Jurcisin, Ron Ochala and Laura Toy. Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The president stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the imeZoning Act (M.S.A Section 5 2934; M C L A 125.584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition 91-2-1-4, submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning on property located on the south side of Five Mile Road between Hubbard Road and Fairfield Avenue in the N W 1/4 of Section 22, from C-2 to OS (General Business to Office Services) Petition 91-3-1-7, submitted by City Planning Commission pursuant to Council Resolution 46-91 for a change of zoning on property located on the northeast corner of Bretton Avenue and Middlebelt Road in the S W 1/4 of Section 1, from OS to RUF (Office Services to One Family Residential - 1/2 acre lot) Petition 91-4-1-9, submitted by B & K Development, Inc. for a change of zoning on property located on the north side of Plymouth Road west of Newburgh Road in the S E 1/4 of Section 30, from RUF to R-1 (Rural Urban Farm to One Family Residential 60' X 120' lot). 26566 Petition 91-4-1-12, submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning on property located on the northeast corner of Clarita and Melvin Avenues in the N.E. 1/4 of Section 11 from R-7 to R-2 (Multiple Family Residential to One Family Residential (70' X 120' lot). There were approximately seventeen (17) people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the of the City Clerk.
