MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
ImoOn November 18, 1991, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
the President of the Council at 8: 11 p m. Present: Joan McCotter, Fernon
P. Feenstra, Laura Toy, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor and Dale Jurcisin.
Absent: Ron Ochala (on business).
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days
prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the
proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning
Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended,
the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934; M.C.L.A. 125.584), as well as
Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing
relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition 91-8-1-17, submitted by Chris Keller for a change of
zoning on property located on the east side of Stark Road, north
of Plymouth Road in the S.E 1/4 of Section 28, from C-1 to R-1,
(Local Business to One Family Residential) the City Planning
Commission in its resolution 9-152-91 having recommended to the
City Council that Petition 91-8-1-17 be approved.
There was no one present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due condera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8: 11 p.m. , November 18,
1991.
