MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION
ilioOn March 25, 1992, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 8:36 P.M. Present: Laura Toy, Michael P. McGee,
Dale Jurcisin, Gerald Taylor, Ron Ochala and Fernon P. Feenstra. Absent:
Sean P Kavanagh (Kavanagh baby born today)
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to
the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change
and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have
been fulfilled.
The president stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the
lbw Zoning Act (M.S.A Section 5.2934; M C L.A. 125.584), as well as Article XXIII
of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of
the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a
change of the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition 91-12-1-Z2, submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant
to Council Resolution 802-91, for a change of zoning on property located
on the southeast corner of Newburgh and Five Mile Roads in the Northwest
1/4 of Section 20, from C-2 to RUF (General Business to Rural Urban
Farm).
Petition 91-12-1-23, submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant
to Council Resolution 803-91, for a change of zoning on property located
on the northeast corner of Five Mile and Newburgh Roads in the Southwest
1/4 of Section 17 from C-2 to C-1 (General Business to Local Business).
There were approximately three people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the
IL of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:55 P.M. , March 25, 1992.
