MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REQUEST BY
linFORD MOTOR COMPANY - LIVONIA TRANSMISSION PLANT
FOR AN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE IN
CITY OF LIVONIA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
On May 6, 1992, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to
order by Councilman Taylor Council at 7:35 p.m. Present: Fernon
P. Feenstra, Sean P. Kavanagh, Michael P. McGee, Dale Jurcisin*
and Gerald Taylor. Absent: Ron Ochala and Laura Toy (recuperating
from surgery).
*Jurcisin entered at 7:37.
Councilman Taylor stated that this was a Public Hearing on the
question of whether this City Council should approve the
Application for an Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate as
submitted by Ford Motor Company - Livonia Transmission Plant,
covering industrial facilities to be located within the City of
Livonia Industrial Development District No. 1.
There were approximately thirteen people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in
the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:30 p.m. , May 6,
1992.
