MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REQUEST BY
GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION,
GM POWERTRAIN DIVISION - LIVONIA OPERATIONS
FOR AN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE
CITY OF LIVONIA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 2
On October 23, 1995, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center
Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Taylor at 7 10 p m Present:
Fernon P Feenstra, Michael P McGee, Sean P Kavanagh, Maureen Miller Brosnan, Dale A.
Jurcisin and Gerald D Taylor Absent: Laura M Toy
President Taylor stated that this was a Public Hearing on the question of whether this
City Council should approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate,
submitted by General Motors Corporation, GM Powertrain Division - Livonia Operations, re for
L a project to purchase and install machinery and equipment to manufacture and assemble a
new V-6 engine at property located at 12200 Middlebelt Road in the S W 1/4 of Section 24,
City of Livonia, MI, Development District No 2)
There were approximately fifteen (15) people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the
Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7.40 p m , October 23, 1995
