HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1995-10-18 PETITION 1995-05-01-11 29107 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION On October 18, 1995, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Taylor at 8 20 p m Present: Fernon P Feenstra, Michael P McGee, Sean P Kavanagh, Maureen Miller Brosnan, Laura M Toy, Dale A. Jurcisin and Gerald D Taylor Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A. Section 5 2934, M C L A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition 95-5-1-11 by J-P Properties requesting to rezone property located north of Six Mile Road, west of the 1-96 Expressway, in the S W 1/4 of Section 7 from R-9111 and OS to C-4, OS and R-9 III to C-2, AG to OS, R-9 III to PO and R-5C to C-2 29108 Identification of above Zoning District Classifications. LR-5C (One Family Residential - 100' Lots) R-9 III (Housing for Elderly - 9 Stories) AG (General Agriculture) OS (Office Services) PO (High-Rise Professional Office - 4 Stories) C-2 (General Business) C-4 (High-Rise Commercial - 4 Stories) Petition 94-8-1-18 by Haggerty Road Investments requesting to rezone property located on the east side of Haggerty Road, north of Seven Mile Road, in the S W 1/4 of Section 6 from OS (Office Services) to C-2 (General Business) There were 23 persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the LCity Clerk.
