HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1996-03-25 PETITION 1995-10-01-25 29392 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING On March 25, 1996, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Vice President Brosnan at 8 05 p m. Present: Val Vandersloot, Michael McGee, Gerald D Taylor, Brian Duggan, Femon P Feenstra and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: Joe Laura. Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The Vice President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934, M.0 L.A 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance. Petition 95-10-1-25 by the Oakwood Healthcare System requesting to rezone property located on the north side of Seven Mile Road between Bethany Road and Victor Parkway in the S E. 1/4 of Section 6 from RUFC to PO (Rural Urban Farm - 1/2 Acre Lots to High Rise Professional Office - 4 Stories) Petition 94-12-1-29 by The Kroger Co and High Equity Partners, LP requesting to rezone property located on the south side of Five Mile Road between Bainbridge Avenue and Henry Ruff Road in the N W 1/4 of Section 23 from RUFA to P (Rural Urban Farm - 1/2 Acre Lots to Parking) Petition 95-12-1-30 by Gino Silvestri requesting to rezone property located on the north side of Ann Arbor Trail between Wayne and Levan Roads in the S E. 1/4 of Section 32 from RUF to R-C (Rural Urban Farm - 1/2 Acre Lots to Condominium Residential) 29393 Petition 95-12-1-31 by Rudolf J Holz and Clinton J Holz requesting to rezone property located on the south side of Beacon Road between Plymouth Road and the CSX Railroad in the S E. 1/4 of Section 28 from R-5 to R-7 (One Family Residential 100' X 150' Lots to Multiple Family Residential) There were approximately fifty-five (55) persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
