MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
IN THE NORTH 1/2 OF SECTION 27 FOR
PROGRESS PATTERN
On June 16, 1997, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at 7.02 p m. Present: Val Vandersloot, Brian Duggan, Fernon P Feenstra,
Maureen Miller Brosnan and Joe Laura. Absent: Michael P McGee and Gerald D
Taylor
The President stated that this was a Public Hearing on the question of whether
this City Council should establish an Industrial Development District pursuant to Act No
L 198 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1974, as amended, requested by Donald Leidal,
Managing Partner, Hart & Leidal, re to be located at 32235 Industrial Road in
connection with the expansion of manufacturing/design operations of their current
tenant, Progress Pattern (a Michigan Corporation)
There were four (4) persons present at this public hearing.
Questions and comments were given due consideration by the Council, a
transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 07 p m., June 16, 1997
