MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 97-8-2-18
(WAIVER USE)
On December 1, 1997, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at 7.09 p m. Present: Maureen Miller Brosnan, Val Vandersloot, Michael P McGee
Gerald D Taylor, Brian Duggan, Femon P Feenstra, and Joe Laura. Absent: None
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to Notice of Public
Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance
No. 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing relative to Petition 97-8-2-18 by
Derek and Elizabeth Patton for waiver use approval to utilize an existing building for a
child day nursery located on the west side of Middlebelt Road between Dover Avenue
and Grandon Avenue in the S.E. 1/4 of Section 35
There were 25 persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 43 p m., December 1, 1997
