MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING
On May 27, 1998, tt3e above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Engebretson at
7.20 p m Present: John Walsh, John Pastor, Joe Laura, Maureen Miller Brosnan, and
_ Jack Engebretson Absent: Val Vandersloot and Brian Duggan Pursuant to Section
23 06 of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and
mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area
affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the
Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section
4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A.
Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a
public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition 98-2-1-2 submitted by Realty Development Company for a
change of zoning of property located on the ease side of Victor Parkway,
north of Pembroke in the N E. 1/4 of Section 6, from P0-1 to OS (High
Rise Professional Office Six Stories to Office Services), the City Planning
Commission in its resolution 3-38-98 having recommended to the City
Council that Petition 98-2-1-2 be denied
There was one person present in the audience
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 08 p m , May 27, 1998
