MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RELATIVE TO ON THE NECESSITY OF
A PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENT STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ON LAMONT STREET (130' NORTH OF JOY ROAD TO
200' SOUTH OF NORTHFIELD AVENUE) AND
STONEHOUSE AVENUE (130' NORTH OF JOY ROAD TO
WEST CHICAGO BOULEVARD
IN SECTION 31
On October 14, 1998, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President
of the Council at 7 16 p m. Present: Maureen Miller Brosnan, John Walsh, Val
Vandersloot, John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Joe Laura and Jack Engebretson
Absent: None
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3 08,
Special Assessments, of the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended, the City
Council is opening a public hearing on the Necessity for the proposed Special
Assessment Street Improvement Project for Lamont Street (130' north of Joy
Road to 200' south of Northfield Avenue) and Stonehouse Avenue (130' north of
Joy Road to West Chicago Boulevard)
There were approximately 30 persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 45 p m October 14, 1998
