MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
PETITION 99-2-1-2 BY LEO SOAVE, ON BEHALF OF CHRIS LESSNAU,
REQUESTING TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF FIVE MILE ROAD BETWEEN SANTA ANITA
AND CAVELL AVENUES IN THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 24
FROM RUF TO R-2 (RURAL URBAN FARM — '/2 ACRE LOTS TO ONE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL— 70' X 120' LOTS) (CR 210-99)
On May 17, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center
Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Vice President Walsh at 7 00 p m
Present: John Walsh, John Pastor and Joe Laura. Absent: Val Vandersloot, Brian Duggan,
Maureen Miller-Brosnan and Jack Engebretson
The Vice President stated that this was a public hearing on the question of whether this
City Council should approve Petition 99-2-1-2 by Leo Soave, on behalf of Chris Lessnau,
requesting to rezone property located on the south side of Five Mile Road between Santa Anita
and Cavell Avenues in the Northeast % of Section 24 from RUF to R-2 (Rural Urban Farm —1/2
Acre Lots to One Family Residential —70' x 120' Lots) (CR 210-99)
There were three (3) persons present on these matters
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the
Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 50 p m , Monday, May 17, 1999
