MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING
RE: TELECOMMUNICATIONS PERMIT APPLICATION
SUBMITTED BY NEXTLINK MICHIGAN, INC , REQUESTING
APPROVAL FOR ACCESS TO AND ONGOING USE OF
THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAYS WITHIN THE CITY FOR
A PROPOSED TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM UTILIZING
APPROXIMATELY 9 MILES OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY,
AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN
THE ATTACHMENT TO THE PERMIT APPLICATION.
On April 28, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President
Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: John Walsh, John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Joe Laura,
Maureen Miller-Brosnan and Jack Engebretson Absent. Val Vandersloot.
The President stated that this was a public hearing re Telecommunications
Permit Application submitted by Nextlink Michigan, Inc., requesting approval for access
to and ongoing use of the public right-of-ways within the City for a proposed
telecommunications system utilizing approximately 9 miles of public right-of-way, as
mc:a particularly described in the attachment to the Permit Application.
There were seven (7) persons present on these matters.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 46 p m , Wednesday, April 28, 1999
