MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RE: APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL
FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE FROM MARK PERRY, CAE,
DIRECTOR-PROPERTY TAXES, MASCOTECH FORMING TECHNOLOGIES-
LIVONIA, A DIVISION OF MASCOTECH, INC., ALSO KNOWN AS Hi VOL
PRODUCTS, INC., DATED APRIL 7, 2000 COVERING NEW INDUSTRIAL
FACILITIES TO BE LOCATED WITHIN CITY OF LIVONIA
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 78.
On June 7, 2000, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Brosnan at
7 06 p m Present: Joe Laura and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: Val
Vandersloot, John Walsh, John Pastor, Brian Duggan and Jack Engebretson
President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question of
whether this City Council should approve the Application for Industrial Facilities
Exemption Certificate from MascoTech Forming Technologies-Livonia, a Division
of MascoTech, Inc , also known as Hi-Vol Products, Inc., dated April 7, 2000, and
covering new industrial facilities to be located within City of Livonia Industrial
Development District No 78
There were two (2) persons present on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 15 p m , Wednesday,
June 7, 2000
