LPUBLIC HEARING RE. APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES
EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE FROM BORG WARNER POWDERED METALS,
INC., DATED NOVEMBER 27, 2001, COVERING NEW INDUSTRIAL
FACILITIES TO BE LOCATED WITHIN CITY OF LIVONIA INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT 56.

On February 6, 2002, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President
Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Val Vandersloot, Linda Dolan, Gerald Taylor, Joe
Laura [7 08 p m ], Maureen Miller Brosnan [7 04 p m J and Jack Engebretson Absent.

Council President Engebretson stated that this was a public hearing on the
question of whether to approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption
Certificate submitted by John L. Strempek, CPA, Financial Analyst, Borg Warner
Powdered Metals, Inc., for building improvements and additional machinery for their
facility located at 32059 Schoolcraft, Livonia, to meet the growing demand from existing
and new automotive customers
There were three (3) persons present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 13 p m , Wednesday, February 6, 2002.
