PUBLIC HEARING RE. TELECOMMUNICATIONS PERMIT APPLICATION
SUBMITTED BY ADELPHIA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS OPERATIONS, INC.
(ABSO) REQUESTING APPROVAL FOR ACCESS TO AND
ONGOING USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAYS WITHIN THE CITY
[CR 619-01]
On October 29, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilmember Brosnan at
TOO p m. Present: Val Vandersloot, John Walsh, Brian Duggan, Joe Laura, Jack
Engebretson and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: John Pastor
Council President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question
of whether to approve the Telecommunications Permit Application submitted by Adelphia
Business Solutions Operations, Inc. (ABSO) requesting approval for access to and
ongoing use of the public right-of-ways within the City for a proposed telecommunica-
tions system utilizing approximately six miles of public rights-of-way, as more particularly
described in the attachment to the Permit Application
There were four (4) persons present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 42 p m., Monday, October 29, 2001
