PUBLIC HEARING RE. PETITION 2002-12-02-26, SUBMITTED BY
ROGER DeHOEK, ON BEHALF OF MEIJER, INC , REQUESTING WAIVER
USE APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT A GASOLINE STATION
AT 13000 MIDDLEBELT ROAD

On March 24, 2003, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council
President Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Don Knapp, Val Vandersloot,
Linda M Dolan, Gerald Taylor, Maureen Miller Brosnan and Jack Engebretson
Absent: Joe Laura (Active Military Duty)
Council President Engebretson stated that this was a public hearing on
the question of whether to approve Petition 2002-12-02-26, submitted by Roger
DeHoek, on behalf of Meijer, Inc., requesting waiver use approval to construct a
gasoline station at 13000 Middlebelt Road, located on the east side of Middlebelt
Road between Schoolcraft Road and the C & 0 Railroad in the northwest 1/4 of
Section 25
There were nine (9) persons present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 7 36 p m , Wednesday, March
