HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2003-08-25 PETITION 2003-03-01-11 34211 PUBLIC HEARING RE REZONING PETITIONS PETITION 2003-03-01-11, submitted by Michael Fant PETITION 2003-04-01-12, submitted by Frank J Kokenakes PETITION 2003-02-01-10, submitted by Larry DeFiore [CR #310-03] On Monday, August 25, 2003, the above hearings was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council Vice President Knapp at 7.00 p m Present: Linda M Dolan, Joe Laura, Gerald Taylor Val Vandersloot and Don Knapp Absent: Maureen Miller Brosnan and Jack Engebretson Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to the following rezoning requests 1 Petition 2003-03-01-11, submitted by Michael Fant, for a change of zoning of property located at 36025 Ann Arbor Trail, on the south side of Ann Arbor Trail between Grandon Avenue and Linville Avenue in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 32 from RUF ( Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots) to R-1 (One Family Residential — 60' x 120' Lots) 34212 2 Petition 2003-04-01-12, submitted by Frank J Kokenakes, on behalf of General Properties Company, LLC, for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Sunset Avenue between Kenwood Court and Eight Mile Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 2 from RUFA (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots) to R-3 (One Family Residential — 80' x 120' Lots) 3 Petition 2003-02-01-10, submitted by Larry DeFiore, on behalf of Spalding Properties, LLC, for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Plymouth Road between Newburgh Road and Roselinda Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 30 from RUF (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots) to R-8 (High Rise Multiple Family Residential) and R-1 (One Family Residential 60' x 120' Lot), as amended so as to rezone this property to R-1(One Family Residential 60' x 120' Lot) only There were twenty (20) individuals present in the audience on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
