PUBLIC HEARING RE:
Petition 2004-01-01 submitted by Golf Ridge Properties, LLC
on behalf of Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Church, Inc.
On Wednesday, March 31, 2004, the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
Council President Taylor at 7 00 p m Present: Brian Meakin, Frank J
Kokenakes, James McCann, Thomas Robinson, Don Knapp and Gerald Taylor
Absent. None
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other
requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled
Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the
provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921,
as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well
as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to
the following rezoning requests
1 Petition 2004-01-01-01 submitted by Golf Ridge Properties, LLC on behalf
of Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Church, Inc requesting to rezone property
located on the south side of Eight Mile Road (Part of Glen Eden Memorial
Park) between Ellen and Newburgh Road in the North 1/2 of Section 5 from
AG to R-4 (General Agriculture to One Family Residential (90' x 130' lots)

Questions and comments from interested persons were given due

The public hearing was declared closed at 7 12 p m , Wednesday, March
31, 2004
