PUBLIC HEARING RE. PETITION 2003-12-02-24 SUBMITTED BY
COSTCO COMPANIES, INC , REQUESTING WAIVER USE APPROVAL TO
UTILIZE AN SDD LICENSE (PACKAGED LIQUOR) IN CONNECTION WITH
AN EXISTING RETAIL FACILITY AT 2000 HAGGERTY ROAD
On Monday, March 22, 2004, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council
President Taylor at 9 13 p m Present: Brian Meakin, Don Knapp, Frank J
Kokenakes, Linda M Dolan and Gerald Taylor Absent: Thomas Robinson
Council President Taylor stated that this was a public hearing on the
question whether to approve Petition 2003-12-02-24 submitted by Costco
Companies, Inc. requesting waiver use approval to utilize an SDD license
(packaged liquor) in connection with an existing retail facility at 20000 Haggerty
Road, located on the east side of Haggerty Road between Seven Mile and Eight
Mile Roads in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 6
There were ten (10) individuals present in the audience regarding
this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9:21 , on Monday, March 22,
2004
