PETITION. 2007-02-02-05, SUBMITTED BY PETER LYDERS, ON BEHALF OF
SUNDANCE, INC (A FRANCHISEE OF TACO BELL CORP) REQUESTING
WAIVER USE APPROVAL TO DEMOLISH AND RECONSTRUCT A FULL SERVICE
RESTAURANT ON THE WEST SIDE OF FARMINGTON ROAD BETWEEN SEVEN
MILE ROAD AND CLARITA AVENUE, (19055 FARMINGTON ROAD) IN THE
NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 9
On Wednesday, May 16, 2007, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by President
McCann at 7 17 p m Present: Don Knapp, Brian Meakin, Terry Godfroid-Marecki, Joe
Laura, Thomas Robinson, Gerald Taylor and James McCann
President McCann stated that this was a public hearing on the question whether
to approve the request of waiver use approval to demolish and reconstruct a full service
restaurant (Taco Bell) with drive-up window facilities on the west side of Farmington
Road between Seven Mile Road and Clarita Avenue (19055 Farmington Road) in the
Northeast 'A of Section 9 (This petition was denied by the City Planning Commission at
their Regular Meeting of March 20, 2007, and comes to City Council per the Petitioners
request for an appeal
There were (12) individuals present in the audience regarding this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the
Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 38 p m on Wednesday, May 16,
2007
