PUBLIC HEARING RE: REQUEST SUBMITTED BY
ROBERT BABCOCK, CFO OF HELM, INC FOR AN
EXEMPTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY
(INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY DISTRICT #112)
On Wednesday, September 14, 2011, the above hearing was held
at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to
order by Council President McCann at 7 10 p m Present: Conrad Schwartz,
John Pastor, Brian Meakin, Joe Laura, Laura Toy and James McCann Absent:
Maureen Miller Brosnan
Council President McCann stated that this was a public hearing on the
question whether to approve the Application for Exemption of Personal Property,
submitted by Robert Babcock, CFO of Helm, Inc., for the purchase of new
equipment in connection with the relocation of their warehouse and distribution
operation from Plymouth, MI to 38150 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150
(Industrial Development Overlay District #112)
There were six (6) individuals present in the audience regarding this
matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7.20 p m , on Wednesday,
September 14, 2011
