7 GREENBELT PETITION Planning Commission, re Petition 2002-11-GB-04
submitted by Frisco Holding, LLC requesting approval to substitute a greenbelt
for the protective wall as outlined in Section 18 45 of the Zoning Ordinance for
property located on the east side of Middlebelt Road between Grove Avenue and
Six Mile Road (16880 Middlebelt Road) in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 13
8 PROPOSED REPEAL OF CHAPTER 96 (ELECTRIC FRANCHISE) OF TITLE 5
OF THE APPENDIX OF THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED, AND CHAPTER 300 (ENERGY UTILITY FRANCHISES) OF TITLE
2 OF THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED Department of
Law, re to reflect the State law amendment to the Customer Choice and
Reliability Act (2000 PA 141), known as 2001 PA 48, which provides that "[a)n
alternative electric supplier is not a public utility" and therefore not required to
have a franchise granted by the City (Ordinance Nos 2488 and 2507)

9 PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO 543, AS AMENDED-
Department of Law, re Petition 2002-07-01-11, as amended, submitted by John
Carney, on behalf of Time Warner Entertainment/Advance/Newhouse L.P , for a
change of zoning of property located on the west side of Farmington Road
between Five Mile Road and Lyndon in the Northeast % of Section 21, the
easterly one-half of the property from R-2 to OS (One Family Residential — 70' x
120' Lots to Office Services) and the westerly one-half of the property from R-2 to
P (One Family Residential —70' x 120' Lots to Parking) (CR 667-02)
10 PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO 543, AS AMENDED.
Department of Law, re Petition 2002-06-06-02 submitted by the City Planning
Commission pursuant to CR 361-02 and pursuant to Section 23 01(a) of Zoning
Ordinance No. 543, as amended, to determine whether or not to amend Zoning
Ordinance No. 543 to allow various types of athletic schools and similar facilities
as permitted or waiver uses in industrial zoning districts (CR 668-02)

Livonia Housing Commission, all contingent upon receipt of specified funds (CR

13 LANGUAGE CHANGE Planning Commission, re Petition 2002-02-06-01
submitted by the City Planning Commission pursuant to Section 23 01(b) of
Zoning Ordinance No 543, as amended, to determine whether or not to amend
Article IV, Section 4 04 and Article V, Section 5 04 in order to establish open
space preservation zoning provisions in the R-5 and RUF zoning districts as
required by House Bill No 5029 (CR 629-02)
