5 REQUEST TO ACCEPT FEMA (FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
AGENCY) FY 2002 ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT AWARD AND
GRANT AGREEMENT ARTICLES, AND REQUEST TO DESIGNATE THESE
FUNDS TO THE CAPITAL OUTLAY FIRE EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT Livonia
Fire & Rescue, re. this shared grant (70% government portion and 30% City
portion) will be used to acquire two (2) training simulators (the "Fire Fighter
Survival" simulator and the "Swede Survival Mobile Flashover Training System")
to be used for training purposes in conjunction with surrounding jurisdictions as
well as the local community college
6 AWARD OF BID Livonia Fire & Rescue, re. to supply uniforms and uniform
accessories for a period of two (2) years (May 1, 2003 through May 1, 2005)

of Title 6, Chapter 04 (Dogs) to prohibit dogs, cats and all pets (with the
exception of service animals) in/on public parks and public lands during special
events.
